Carleton’s Regional Carls Program

Schedule:

• 3:00 PM -- A pre-game gathering at nearby Champps (100 N. 6th Street, Minneapolis, in Butler Square) with current Carleton students will lead off the afternoon. Over hors d’oeuvres, Timberwolves President Chris Wright will discuss managing a professional sports team.
• 4:30 PM -- We'll head across the street to watch the Timberwolves take on the Boston Celtics.
• 5:00 PM -- Game begins at Target Center, 600 First Avenue North, Minneapolis
• POST-GAME -- All are invited down on court (sure to excite the younger members of the family) to shoot some baskets. "Crunch," the Timberwolves mascot, will be on scene as well.

The cost is $50, an extraordinary value that includes the hors d’oeuvres reception, the talk with Chris Wright, your Timberwolves game ticket (lower level seats, regularly $60), and the on-court time. Additionally, for each ticket you purchase, a free ticket will be provided to kids served by St. Paul’s Neighborhood House program. Order your tickets by calling the Alumni Affairs Office (1-800-729-2586) or send email to alumni-office@carleton.edu. Tickets will be mailed to you by the Timberwolves a week or so after your order is received.

Many Carls pulled together to organize this event including Bru Mutebi ’02, who works in the Timberwolves’ front office and Dan Hoxworth ’82, Neighborhood House President.
