Join the campus community as we hear Bonnie Nadzam '99 read from selections of her fiction.

Bonnie has published fiction and essays in Granta,Harper’s MagazineOrion MagazineThe Iowa Review, EpochThe Kenyon Review, and many others. Her first novel, Lamb, was a recipient of the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize in 2011 and was longlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction. It has been translated into several languages and made into an award-winning independent film released in theaters in early 2016, co-starring Ross Partridge (Stranger Things) and Oona Laurence (Southpaw). Her second novel, Lions, came out from Grove Press in July 2016. She is also co-author with Dale Jamieson of Love in the Anthropocene (OR Books, 2015). Bonnie and Dale met at Carleton, where she was one of his ENTS students. She went on to pursue an MFA from Arizona State University, and a Master’s and PhD from The University of Southern California (with a focus in 18th Century Literature, inspired by Vern Bailey).
