Join Carleton Professor of Art, Fred Hagstrom, for a lunch discussion of this special exhibit. You are encouraged to view the exhibit on your own before lunch. The Harvard Art Museum is a short walk from the Brewery and access to the museum is free for Massachusetts residents between 10 a.m. and noon. Our group will meet up at the Brewery for lunch at 12:30.

Fred Hagstrom is the Rae Schupack Nathan professor of Art at Carleton. He has taught at Carleton since 1984. For the past three years, he has directed the Perlman Center for Learning and Teaching at Carleton. His primary areas are printmaking, drawing, and artist’s books. His work is represented in collections that include the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Libraries, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and Walker Art Center.

He takes students on an off campus study tour to the Cook Islands, New Zealand, and Australia. This program started in 1996, and now nearly 250 Carleton students have had the opportunity to study art and culture in the South Pacific on a 10- week program.

RSVPs are necessary so we can make an accurate lunch reservation. Please RSVP here.
