Karin, an award-winning journalist, will speak about  her new book, Saved:  Rescued Animals and the Lives They Transform, stories about people trying to heal the damage done to animals and how animals heal suffering human beings. Novelist Jim Harrison (Legends of the Fall) calls Saved “an extraordinarily poignant book ...a template for our possible redemption” and Jane Goodall calls it “an inspired collection.”  Karin will be glad to sign copies following the program.
