Please joint us for a picnic dinner on the lawn of the Cleveland Orchestra’s Blossom Music Center, followed by a performance of the Cleveland Orchestra.  On the program are:  Liszt: Mephisto Waltz No. 1; Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2; Mussorgsky/Ravel: Pictures at an Exhibition.

The Blossom Music Center is a large outdoor amphitheater where the Cleveland Orchestra performs in the summer.  The venue opens 2 1/2 hours before the concert begins, and people may purchase lawn tickets to sit anywhere on the lawn overlooking the stage.  Concert-goers frequently bring their picnic dinner and dine on the lawn before the concert begins.

Cost:  $19 per person for lawn seating; $26 per person for pavilion seating.

We will meet on the lawn for a picnic dinner at 6:30 p.m.  The concert begins at 8 p.m.  Look for Club Chair Daniel Baxter ’01 in his Carleton shirt (and Carleton balloons), and other folks who will be waiting by the edge of the lawn.  Questions?  Contact Daniel.
