2400 3rd Avenue S, Minneapolis

Join Laurel Bradley, Carleton’s Curator and Exhibition Director, on a special tour of the upcoming exhibit of Georgia O’Keeffe’s works at the MIA. Georgia O’Keeffe is revered as the goddess of early American modernism, a woman who made great art from America’s skyscrapers and wide open landscapes. “Georgia O’Keeffe: Circling Around Abstraction” explores the artist’s relationship to abstract or non-representational forms over more than seven decades of art-making.

We’ll meet in the MIA lobby at 10:45 a.m.; our tour will start at 11:00. Cost: $7. Afterwards, treat yourself to lunch with the group at a nearby restaurant. To register, call the alumni office at 800-729-2586 or write to alumni-office@carleton.edu. Hurry-only 20 spaces available for our tour of this popular exhibit!
