2:15 p.m. preview talk, 3 p.m. performance
E.M. Pearson Theatre, Concordia University, 312 North Hamline Avenue, St. Paul

You are invited to the Upper Midwest premiere of a new opera based on Thornton Wilder's celebrated play Our Town. With exquisite music by distinguished American composer Ned Rorem and a libretto by poet J.D. McClatchy, this intimate, accessible chamber opera perfectly captures the play's central theme---that people never truly appreciate the precious nature of their lives while they are living them.

Join us beforehand for a concert preview with Ann Spencer and stay afterward for a reception and talks by Steve Stucki, Artistic Director/Conductor and singer Gary Briggle, who plays the key role of The Stage Manager.

Tickets: $38. Purchase your tickets from TicketWorks, 651-209-6689. To get our special rate, be sure to say that you are part of the Carleton group. If you have any questions about this event, contact Ann Spencer.
