Carleton’s Regional Carls Program

It's time for our Summer Send-Off!  Please join hosts Jonas Cartano '01 and Jonathan Lin '13 to welcome the incoming class of 2019, and take advantage of the best opportunity we have all year for the entire New York Carleton community to get together. 

New students and their families – Come have some fun Carleton-style before you head out to Minnesota!
Returning students & alumni – We invite you to welcome the new students to Carleton! 
Parents of returning students – Welcome (and reassure) our new Carleton parents! 
Prospective students and their parents – Come and find out what Carleton is all about!

When: Saturday, August 8, 12 to 3 p.m.

Where: Central Park Dairy

What to bring: Members of the incoming class of 2019 and family members do need not bring anything. Prospective students and families, you're off the hook too. 

Current students, alumni and families, please bring a snack to share: 
Last name A-K: entrees/salads (sandwiches, salads, pasta salads, etc.) 
Last name L-R: snacks (chips, crackers, pretzels, etc.) 
Last name S-Z: desserts (cookies, bars, ice cream, etc.) 

The hosts will provide beverages and paper products. Wear your Carleton College gear for easier identification!

Rain Location: in case of uncooperative weather, the send-off will take place in Brooklyn at Lavender Lake: 383 Carroll St., Brooklyn, NY 11231. Nearby subways include Union St. (R train) or Carroll St. (F or G train). This gastropub allows customers younger than 18 to join! So in the case of rain, the send-off will take place at Lavender Lake during the same time, and on the same date--the event WILL NOT be a potluck but food and beverages will be available for purchase.
