Raymond Anthony “Tony” Wong was born on August 31, 1950 in Jamaica, West Indies, the son of Antonio and Iris (Fong) Wong, and passed away December 4, 2017 at the age of 67. He graduated from Carleton College in Minnesota and served as an advocate for the disabled in both Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan. Tony was employed by ARC, Michigan. Tony was loved and respected by all his family and so many other people. He is greatly missed.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his sisters, Angelitha (Mervin “Jim”) Draper of East Lansing and Everett Summers of London, England and uncle, Stanley Fong of Jamaica. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish his memory. Tony’s place of burial will be in Retreat, Jamaica.

    Tony was taking pictures during tennis practice first year. He called me and told me he had a couple he thought I should see. I picked one out, and eventually it made it to newspapers and other publications in the Twin Cities. That led to other good things happening for me, and I'll always be grateful to Tony.
