Do you have the Sixth Out After Carleton Family Reunion dates on your calendar? We invite alumni, faculty, staff, and students to attend events that will reconnect participants across generations, celebrate our futures, and create community at Carleton and beyond!

Highlights include:

Sessions: Stories of coming out in the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s; the history and founding of Out After Carleton; LBGTQA+ parenting; Queer and transgender respresentation in television, LGBTQA+ life at Carleton with current students; and more.

Speakers: Cleve Jones, Author, AIDS & LGBT Rights Activist; Todd Larson '83, the former Senior LGBT Coordinator for the Obama Administration and former UN Senior LGBT Coordinator at the U.S. Agency for International Development; Andrea Jenkins, the first openly transgender African-American woman elected to public office in the United States, serving since January 2018 on the Minneapolis City Council; and Jonathan Capehart '89, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and a member of The Washington Post editorial board.

In addition:A film screening of the new documentary by Diana Fraser '14: Patient No More, a dance party, a Gender and Sexuality Center open house, and more!

Reunion costs:
Reunion years 11-49 out $100 for a day, or $175 for the weekend. Reunion years 0-10 out $75 for a day, or $125 for the weekend. This is also the fee for the Stonewall discount for classes '69 and older.

The purpose of the Out After Carleton Family Reunion is to welcome, unite, and reunite members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual and allied (LGBTQA+) Carleton community. The Out After Carleton Family Reunions have been taking place approximately every four years since 1998.
