1992	The Johnson House/Alumni Guest House complex is completed, a building designed to house guest rooms and Carleton's Admissions Office.
1993	The Center for Mathematics and Computing opens.
1995	The new Biological Sciences building (later named Hulings Hall) is completed.
1995	Boliou Hall Phase II remodeling is completed.
1997	Olin and Mudd Hall's renovation is completed.
1998	Nourse Hall is remodeled.
1998	First LGBT Family Reunion is held on campus in October.
2000	The Recreation Center opens.
2000	Carleton receives its first-ever presidential visit, as President Bill Clinton addresses graduating seniors at Commencement.
2001	The new Language and Dining Center opens
2001	A new Gender and Sexuality Center opens in the basement of Scoville Hall
2001	Nine townhouse-style student residences open.
2001	The applicant pool for admission to Carleton exceeds 4,000 for the first time. (4,061)
2002	Twigonometry is erected on the Bald Spot. It was taken down in 2006
2002	Robert Oden becomes Carleton's tenth president, coming to Carleton from the presidency of Kenyon College.
2004	The first wind turbine is erected, making Carleton the first college in the world to own and operate a utility-scale wind turbine.
2004	The Queers & Allies House (Q&A House) is institutionalized.
2005	Carleton students build the campus’s first green roof atop Olin Hall of Science.
2006	50 Carleton Singing Knights from the past 50 years gather on campus for a 50th anniversary concert.
2007	The Council Ring is built.
2007	Arabic language courses are offered for the first time on campus.
2007	Cinema and Media Studies (CAMS) becomes Carleton's newest major.
2009	Two new dormitories, Cassat Hall and Memorial Hall, are built. Memorial Hall is renamed James Hall in 2012.
2010	Steve Pozkanzer is named the 11th college president. He came to Carleton from the presidency of SUNY New Paltz.
2011	Carleton adds its second wind turbine.
2011	The Weitz Center for Creativity opens. The building added 30,000 square feet of new construction to the former Northfield Middle School and was designed "to serve as a working laboratory for creativity - not only in the arts, but across the entire curriculum."
2011	Carleton initiates a Climate Action Plan with the goal of becoming a carbon neutral campus by 2050.
2012	Evans Hall is renovated.
2014	A new Facilities Master Plan is approved. This will result in major physical changes to the campus over the next ten years. Some changes include renovations to many campus buildings and the construction of new science and music facilities.
2016	Carleton celebrates its sesquicentennial with a carnival, an academic symposium, a museum exhibition, a commemorative website, and many events showcasing student performances.
