Northfield Summer Film Fest

June 24, 2014

The Cannon Valley Elder Collegium and Carleton College are again pleased to present the Northfield Film Festival. The first movie, Bonnie and Clyde, is on July 8. The others are The Graduate, July 15; 2001–A Space Odyssey, July 22; and Chinatown, July 29.

All evening screenings are free and open to the public.

If you'd like to learn more about the films, enroll in the CVEC's class!  Each movie will be followed the morning after by a seminar led by faculty experts, 9:30-11:30 AM, also at the Weitz Center. Registration for these seminars begins on June 15 by mail or at the Northfield Senior Center, and $25 covers all four movies. The first seminar will be led by Jay Beck, Assistant Professor of Cinema and Media Studies, Carleton.
