French Film Fest Opens Kicks Off Cinematic Fall

Five new and one classic French film comprise this Fall's Tournées Festival.  Supported by the FACE Foundation, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, the festival aims to bring French cinema to American colleges and university campuses.  Tournées Film Festival reflects the diversity and the richness of French and Francophone cinema through various genres — fiction, documentary, animation, and repertory films from around the world.

All screenings are on Monday evenings at 7:00 in the Weitz Cinema.  Carleton's screenings are free and open to the public.

  • September 30:  MES PROVINÇIALES (A PARIS EDUCATION)
  • October 7:  LES GARÇONS SAUVAGES (THE WILD BOYS)
  • October 14:  LE RETOUR DU HÉROS (RETURN OF THE HERO)
  • October 21:  LE SEMEUR (THE SOWER)
  • October 28:  DIABOLO MENTHE (PEPPERMINT SODA)
