| FOB is a play that addresses the intricate experiences between Asian Americans and “Fresh Off the Boat” (FOB) immigrants from China. The three characters, Grace, Dale, and Steve, have different experiences and opinions about their identities. However, through their relationships with one another, they are unable to escape the need to confront the historical and cultural context of what it means to be both American and Chinese to them. |
