Presented by Mike Bahn for the comprehensive exercise of the Dance Major at Carleton College, and in conjunction with Semaphore Modern Repertory Company, 'Assemble The Body' is an off-kilter, understated exploration of movement patterns, spatial relations, and the authentic body. Through absurd, chaotic, partnered, and gestural movement, the goal is to question the audience/performer relationship while attempting to break down traditions, stereotypes, and expectations of 'performance.'
'Assemble The Body' is presented along with a new solo by Sam Johnson of SUPERGROUP, performed by Mike Bahn.
