Shawnee, Ohio Revisited: Gallery Installation by Brian Harnetty

Brian Harnetty is a composer, performer, artist and writer who works with sound archives. Many of his pieces transform archive material into newly re-contextualized sound collages. His installation SHAWNEE, OH explores the historic, economic, cultural, and environmental sounds of Appalachian Ohio. Together, the music, photos, and video focus on eleven aural portraits of local residents recounting their lives, work, friendships, and deeds.
