Between screenings at a run-down, single-screen movie theater in Massachusetts, three underpaid, overworked employees sweep up popcorn and vacuum between the aisles as one of the last 35mm projectors in the state flickers over their heads. Grasping for authenticity in a world that feels increasingly fake, Sam, Rose, and Avery must grapple with where their stories fit in with each other and the world around them.
