KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Moriah Arnold (Harvard, Mass./Bromfield) became the latest in a long line of All-Region performers for the Carleton College women’s soccer program. The senior defender was voted to the National Soccer Coaches’ Association of America (NSCAA) All-North Region Third Team, becoming the Knights’ 14th All-Region performer since 2010.
A three-year starter along the Knights’ backline, Arnold—who was previously tabbed one of five defenders on the 2016 All-MIAC team—appeared in all 17 matches for Carleton this season and led the squad’s field players in minutes played with 1551 out of a possible 1570. That was the highest ratio of minutes played among MIAC players during the regular season.
Showcasing the depth of talent around the MIAC, a total of 14 players representing eight programs were named to the All-North Region first, second, and third teams.
