Senior tight end Brian Frett is the latest Carleton College Knight to be voted to the D3football.com All-Region Team as he was named a third-team selection. This is the seventh consecutive season that at least one Knight was named to the All-Region squad.

Seniors Anthony Kemper and Brian Frett were two of the top receiving targets in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). Both were recognized for their abilities when conference coaches voted them to the 2013 All-MIAC Second Team.

The Carleton College football team trailed Augsburg by 21 in the third quarter, and still by 17 with just 7:30 to play, but the Knights pulled off the biggest Carleton comeback in at least 17 years by rallying for an amazing 49-45 victory. Star receiver Anthony Kemper led the way with more than 100 yards, countless big plays down the stretch, and the game-winning touchdown. For his role in the historic win, Kemper was named the final MIAC Football Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the 2013 season.

In its final contest of the season, the Carleton College football team rattled off three consecutive scores and overcame a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Augsburg College, 49-45. With the victory, the Knights sealed their first five-win season since 2008 when the squad posted a 7-3 record and came within a win of the MIAC championship.
