    Knights finish ninth at MIAC Championships

    Despite its best showing at the MIAC Championships in at least 31 years, the Carleton College men’s golf team wrapped up the final round of play at the conference tournament in the same place that it began the day: in ninth place.

    Knights drop to ninth after day two at MIAC Championships

    The Carleton College men’s golf team struggled in round two of the MIAC Championships, dropping one spot in the standings to now sit in ninth place after coming in with a team total of 327. The Knights were able to move up to seventh for total pars, but an excess of big numbers and only seven birdies over two days prevented Carleton from moving up the leaderboard.

    Knights eighth after day one of MIAC Championships

    The Carleton College men’s golf team completed day one of the 54-hole MIAC Championships at the Ridges at Sand Creek with a score of 312, placing the Knights in eighth place.

    Split-squad action has Knights competing twice

    The Carleton College men’s golf team participated in a pair of events over the weekend: the Twin Cities Classic and the Carleton/Macalester/St. Olaf Triangular. The Knights finished 13th at the former, while taking second place at the latter.

    Knights finish 15th at Saint John’s Fall Invitational

    This weekend the Carleton College men’s golf team competed in the Saint John’s Fall Invitational held at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course and Greystone Golf Club. In an extremely strong field—including three top-25 DIII teams and four others receiving votes—the Knights struggled with strong winds and long fescue on both courses, finishing the tournament 15th out of 17 teams.

    Knights continue strong play at Wildflower Cobber Invitational

    The Carleton College men’s golf team looked to continue its strong play this season as the Knights competed in the Wildflower Cobber Invitational. Carleton was able to post consistent rounds of 313 and 317 to finish fifth out of 12 teams and was the top finishing Division III program in the field.
