    A total of 44 former Knights were in attendance as the Carleton College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams opened the 2018-19 season with the annual Intrasquad/Alumni Meet.

    Knights earn 59 Academic All-Conference awards

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Winter/Spring 2018 Academic All-Conference honorees, with Carleton College student-athletes earning distinction 59 times. That figure is a 48 percent increase over the previous year. With 94 total Academic All-Conference awards during the 2017-18 academic year, Carleton student-athletes posted their second-highest overall figure since the program adopted new academic and athletic standards prior to the 2005-06 season.

    Knights earn CSCAA Scholar All-America team and individual awards

    The Carleton College men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs were once again both designated as Scholar All-America squads by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The award is presented biannually, once for the fall term and again for the winter term/spring semester

    The Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team improved its standing entering the last day and finished the conference meet in fourth place.

    Knights stay fifth after Day 2 of MIAC Championships

    Day 2 of the MIAC Championships saw competition in five individual events and two more relays. The Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team still sits fifth overall. Jack Dalluge turned in the Knights’ top performance on Friday evening, earning All-MIAC recognition after placing third in the 200-yard freestyle.
