    Stephen Grinich Claims Fourth Weekly Award This Season

    Carleton College swimmer Stephen Grinich has starred throughout his senior season, and after a great performance at the Minnesota Challenge he appears to be saving his best for last. Grinich posted three top-10 individual finishes and led a Knights relay team to victory against top regional Division I, II and III competition at the University of Minnesota's Invite. As a result, Grinich was honored Tuesday with his fourth MIAC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete-of-the-Week award of the 2015-16 season.

    Knights Conclude Competition at Minnesota Challenge

    Wilson Josephson turned in the top individual performance for the Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team on day two of the Minnesota Challenge. The senior was second overall in the 200-yard butterfly with his season-best mark of 1:57.57.

    Knights Win 200 Free Relay at Minnesota Challenge

    Seniors Stephen Grinich, Wilson Josephson, and George McAneny along with first-year Karl Schwarzkopf turned in the biggest highlight for the Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team on day one of the Minnesota Challenge. The quartet won the opening event of the meet—the 200-yard freestyle relay—with a MIAC season-best time of 1:23.92.

    Stephen Grinich Picks Up Two More Weekly Awards

    Carleton College's Stephen Grinich certainly celebrated "Senior Day" in style in his final home meet as a Knight. Grinich was superb in a narrow dual loss to rival St. Olaf, winning all four of his events. His two individual victories included season-best times, and he also helped Carleton win a pair of relay events. For his performance, Grinich was honored Tuesday with his third MIAC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete-of-the-Week award of the 2015-16 season. He was also recognized by CollegeSwimming.com as the conference’s top performer of the week.

    Knights Win 8 events During Senior Day Dual with St. Olaf

    The Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team hosted St. Olaf College for a Senior Day dual meet at Thorpe Pool. The Knights won eight races but came up short of knocking off their rivals, falling by a final team score of 157-141.

    Knights Once Again Named CSCAA All-Academic Teams

    For the 23rd year in a row, Carleton College’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have received Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
