    Gusties slip past Knights

    Senior Alex Mathson and first-year Jack Dalluge both won twice, and junior Colin Lau added another victory, but the Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team absorbed its first dual meet loss to Gustavus Adolphus College since 2014, absorbing a 189-109 setback.

    As part of the Knights’ Winter Break training trip to the Sunshine State, the Carleton College swimming and diving teams squared off against Kalamazoo College (Mich.) in a relay meet at Founders Park Aquatic Center.

    Knights Compete at Jean Freeman Invite

    The Carleton College swimming and diving teams took part in the two-day competition at the Jean Freeman Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota. The 17-team field included a trio of NCAA Division I programs: Minnesota, South Dakota State, and University of South Dakota. The biggest highlights of the weekend came on Friday as both Caroline Mather and Maria Wetzel posted NCAA ‘B’ cut times.

    The Carleton College swimming and diving teams visited the University of St. Thomas for a dual meet on Friday evening. Carleton won a total of five events on the evening.
