Knights take part in Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic

NORTHFIELD, Minn. –  The Carleton College men’s swimming and diving team took part in the Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic on Saturday. The meet included competitors from Carleton, St. Olaf, UW-La Crosse, and St. Cloud State—a NCAA Division II program.

Andrew Chang (Fy./Vancouver, Wash./Union) turned in the top individual performance for Carleton, placing second in the 200-yard butterfly at 1:59.33. He also reached the wall third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.12)

Carleton also turned in a trio of fourth-place results: Jack Dalluge (So./Waverly, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.73), Nick Reeves (So./Kirkland, Wash./Lake Washington) in the 100-yard freestyle (49.88), and the Knights entry in the 200-yard freestyle relay. That quartet included Reeves, Ryan Wetzel (So./Salem, Ore./West Salem), Ari Conati (So./Minneapolis, Minn./Minnetonka), and Will Altaweel (Fy./Madison, Wis./Madison West) combining on a time of 1:31.18.

Carleton will host its first dual meet of the season on Friday, Nov. 3 when St. Thomas visits Thorpe Pool at 6 p.m.
