    Knights earn 59 Academic All-Conference awards

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Winter/Spring 2018 Academic All-Conference honorees, with Carleton College student-athletes earning distinction 59 times. That figure is a 48 percent increase over the previous year. With 94 total Academic All-Conference awards during the 2017-18 academic year, Carleton student-athletes posted their second-highest overall figure since the program adopted new academic and athletic standards prior to the 2005-06 season.

    ‘C’ Club Hall of Fame to add five new members

    In conjunction with Carleton College’s Alumni Reunion Weekend activities, five new members are to be welcomed into the 'C' Club Hall of Fame: football player Mark Williams ’73, three-sport star Madeleine McAfee ’78, track and field All-American Jeff Brown ’88, Olympian Philip Dunn ’93, and former men’s tennis coach Bob Bonner.

    Knights collect record eight All-MIAC honors

    The Carleton College Men’s Tennis team had lots to celebrate on Tuesday as they received a team-record eight All-MIAC awards, five for all-conference performances in singles and three more for doubles. Leading the way for the Knights were senior Kevin Hurley, junior Jordon O'Kelly, and first-year Leo Vithoontien. That trio garnered membership on both the All-MIAC singles and All-MIAC doubles teams.
