    Knights split home opener versus Macalester

    Due to the way the schedule played out this season, the Carleton College softball team finally held its home opener on Tuesday and ended up splitting the doubleheader against Macalester College. The Scots prevailed, 1-0, in a game one pitcher’s duel, while the Knights rallied to take game two by a 7-4 margin.

    Sarah Ogle’s gem earns Knights split at No. 16 St. Ben’s

    Sarah Ogle picked a perfect time to notch her first collegiate victory, shutting down No. 16-ranked College of Saint Benedict for an 8-0 win in game two of Sunday’s doubleheader. That result permitted the Carleton College softball team to salvage a split after dropping the opener, 6-2.

    The Carleton College softball team battled against No. 14-ranked University of St. Thomas, but the Knights came out on the wrong end in both games, falling 9-4 and 4-3.

    Sam Kile tossed her sixth career shutout to help the Carleton College softball team earn a doubleheader split with St. Catherine University on Sunday evening. The Wildcats won the opener 11-3 (6 inn.) before Kile propelled the Knights to a 2-0 victory in game two.
