"In my attempt to broaden my horizons this term, I decided to apply for a radio. Being a freshman new to the radio show world, I was not completely surprised by terrible time slot-- 4:30 am on Wednesdays. Ouch. But I decided to go through with it because I knew it would look bad to decline my offer. I asked my friend to be my Co DJ, and we started doing the show. I have to say, although the time slot is pretty awful, having a show is a great feeling. Of course there aren't many people listening to the show live at my particular time, but all the songs we play are documented for anyone to see at any time on the website. It has been an extremely fulfilling experience thus far, and has taught me how to manage my time well. Not only do I get to play the music I love, but also listen to and experience new type of music that my fellow radio show DJs enjoy. For anyone interested in radio, I would highly recommend applying for a radio show."
