Knights Jump Seven Spots to No. 14 in National Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Carleton College women’s cross country jumped seven spots in this week’s USTFCCCA national rankings, settling at No. 14 following an exceptional performance at the Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday. In addition, the Knights leaped over St. Olaf to gain the #2 spot in the central regional rankings.

The Knights finished third, beating out four nationally ranked squads and placing behind only current No. 8 NYU and No. 11 SUNY-Geneseo.

Carleton has been ranked all season, bouncing between No. 12 and No. 21.

The Knights next race at the MIAC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2.
