FINAL RESULTS (PDF)

BLAINE, Minn. – Amanda Mosborg (So./Edina, Minn./Edina) and Helen Schuda (Jr./Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) posted top-three finishes as the Carleton College women’s cross country opened the 2018 season with a first-place result at the seven-team Twin Cities Twilight.

Most other schools have had a week-and-a-half to prepare for this meet, while the Knights got to campus on Wednesday. Carleton showed little rust, however, posting 7 of the top 13 individual finishes while running the meet as a time trial.

Mosberg completed the three-mile trek in 17:50.9, with Schuda next at 18:18.0. Ruthie Boyd (Jr./Breckenridge, Colo./Summit) clocked a time of 18:53.1

Sarah Allaben (So./Gates Mills, Ohio./Hawken), Grace Leslie (So./Orono, Minn./Orono), Colleen Milligan (Fy./Madison, Wis./Madison East), Berit Hudson-Rasmussen (Jr./Champaign, Ill./University Laboratory), and Sarah Nazarino (Sr./Seattle, Wash./Garfield) clumped together and held down spots 9-13 in the standings while posting times between 19:16 and 19:26.

Carleton’s next meet will be next Friday, Sept. 7 at the UW-River Falls Invitational.
