    Ziyi Wang selected as Academic All-American

    Carleton College women’s golfer Ziyi Wang ’19 was selected to the Academic All-America® Division III At-Large Team in voting by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

    Eric Sieger resigns as Women’s Golf coach

    Eric Sieger has resigned as women’s golf coach at Carleton College in order to pursue other opportunities. A five-time MIAC Coach-of-the-Year, he spent 17 seasons at the helm of the Carleton program and led the Knights to a banner year in 2017–18, including a MIAC Championships title and sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

    Ziyi Wang was recognized for her excellence in the classroom and in competition, as the junior was selected to CoSIDA's Academic All-District At-Large Team.

    Ziyi Wang was tabbed as the MIAC’s Co-Player of the Year, all five Carleton College starters were voted All-MIAC, and head coach Eric Sieger earned conference coach of the year honors as the MIAC announced its post-season awards for women’s golf.

    Knights climb three spots on “Moving Day” at NCAA Championships

    On tour, the third round is often called “moving day” as players position themselves for a final-round charge. The Carleton College women’s golf team made the most of its own moving day, shooting its tournament-best 317 to move up three positions to sixth place heading into Friday’s final round at 2018 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championship.
