    Knights shut out Bethel to get back on track

    The Carleton College women’s soccer team got back on the winning track as the Knights celebrated Senior Day and kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over Bethel University. The scoring came from Annika Martensson, Nora Mertz, and Rachel Foster.

    Knights come up short against No. 19 UW-La Crosse

    The Carleton College women’s soccer team dropped a 4-1 result to No. 19-ranked UW-La Crosse in a non-conference match on Wednesday. Emma Wasend got on the board for the Knights, but it was not enough against the Eagles, who notched their eighth straight victory.

    Knights fall short at Augsburg

    The Carleton College women’s soccer team traveled to Augsburg University and fell 2-0 to the MIAC co-leaders. In addition to the tough competition, both teams had to deal with steady rain throughout the game and a lightning delay which ensured that the contest did not wrap up until close to 10:30 p.m.

    Knights and Oles play to 2-2 draw

    In the battle of the two Northfield colleges, the Carleton College women’s soccer team played rival St. Olaf College to a 2-2 draw after double overtime, with the Knights’ goals coming from first-years Libby Franchot and Kaela Mali.

    St. Thomas surges past Knights in second half

    For the first time in four matches, the Carleton College women’s soccer team did not end up playing overtime. However, that did not make Saturday’s result any easier to accept as the Knights dropped a 3-0 decision at MIAC foe University of St. Thomas.

    Knights honored once again for academic excellence

    For the 17th consecutive year, the Carleton College women’s soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches’ (formerly the NSCAA) Team Academic Award after posting a team cumulative GPA of 3.56 for the 2016-17 academic year.
