    35 Knights earn Academic All-Conference Honors

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Fall 2017 Academic All-Conference honorees today, with Carleton College student-athletes earning distinction 35 times.

    Trio of Knights nab all-conference awards

    Three members of the Carleton College women’s soccer team were recognized as all-conference performers as the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) released its end of season awards. Midfielder Annika Martensson was named to the All-MIAC quad, while sophomore forward Nora Mertz and senior midfielder Madeline Topf received all-conference honorable mention.

    Knights top Blazers to extend win streak

    The Carleton College women’s soccer team ended its season on a high note defeating the College of Saint Benedict, 2-1, to stretch their win streak to three games. The Knights were led by Libby Franchot, who tallied both scores for her second consecutive multi-goal game.

    Senior Spotlight: Madeline Topf

    When Carleton College women’s soccer held it Senior Day celebration, the Knights had a fairly short ceremony. Since day one, there has been only one player in the team’s class of 2018: Madeline Topf. Saturday marks her last game for the Knights.

    With no margin for error in the playoff chase, the Carleton College women’s soccer team defeated Saint Mary’s University, 2-0, behind two goals from Libby Franchot. The Knights, however, had their playoff aspirations doused by results elsewhere in the conference.

    Knights shut out Bethel to get back on track

    The Carleton College women’s soccer team got back on the winning track as the Knights celebrated Senior Day and kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over Bethel University. The scoring came from Annika Martensson, Nora Mertz, and Rachel Foster.
