    Knights fall to Gustavus in MIAC Finals

    With a trip to the NCAA Championships on the line, the No. 37-ranked Carleton College women’s tennis team was unable to dig itself out from a 3-0 deficit following the doubles portion of the match and lost, 5-2, to No. 38 Gustavus Adolphus College in the finals of the MIAC Playoffs.

    Knights sweep Bethel to advance to finals of MIAC Playoffs

    With a 9-0 triumph over No. 4 seed Bethel University on Friday afternoon, the top-seeded Carleton College women’s tennis team advanced to the finals of the MIAC Playoffs. The Knights will host No. 2 seed Gustavus Adolphus College in the conference tournament championship match on Sunday with the MIAC’s automatic berth in the NCAA Championships at stake.

    Battaglini tabbed Coach-of-the-Year; Knights earn 8 All-MIAC Awards

     The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its 2017 Women’s Tennis Awards, with Carleton College coach Luciano Battaglini taking home the top coaching award and five of his players receiving recognition on the All-MIAC squad.

    Zoe Park grabs MIAC weekly honor

    Zoe Park, a rookie on the Carleton College women’s tennis team, notched two more singles wins last week to help the Knight secure the outright MIAC title, the program’s fourth conference crown over the last six seasons. For her performance, Park was recognized as the MIAC Women’s Tennis Athlete-of-the-Week.

    Knights repeat as MIAC Champions, claim 4th title in 6 years!

    The Carleton College women’s tennis team repeated as MIAC regular-season champions with an 8-1 victory over host University of St. Thomas on Sunday. This is the Knights’ fourth MIAC crown over the last six years as they wrapped up the conference schedule with a perfect 10-0 record and enter next week’s conference tournament as the top seed.

    Knights sweep the Scots, earn at least a share of MIAC title

    Playing for the first time on the recently re-named Pat Lamb Tennis Courts, the Carleton College women’s tennis celebrated with a 9-0 triumph over visiting Macalester College. With the victory, the Knights clinched at least a share of their second straight MIAC regular-season title and their fourth conference championships over the last six seasons.
