UMN Health Equity & Community Organizing--Free Conference!
On Monday February 10th, the U of M Medical School and School of Public Health will be hosting their annual Power of Partnerships Conference. The event will begin at 4pm with a poster session (with snacks!) and feature a keynote address from Ella Green Moton, a community organizer from Flint, MI. The conference ends at 7pm and students should be back to campus by 8 or 8:30pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get connected with different health organizing groups and nonprofits in the Twin Cities area and should be a fun and informative evening! If interested, fill out this form by noon on January 30th and the CCCE office will register you. There is no cost associated with the conference and once the CCCE has a list of attendees, they will sort out transportation.
