Arb Volunteer Event

Sat, February 15, 2020 • 9:00am - 12:00pm (3h) • Arboretum Office, 710 Three Oaks Drive

Help restore the savanna and forests of the Arboretum by clearing brush.  If snow conditions allow we will burn the brush piles as we cut.  Meet at the Arboretum Office to walk to the site.  PLEASE CHECK BACK TO MAKE SURE THIS EVENT IS STILL ON! We will cancel if weather conditions are too harsh.  Notice of cancellation will be posted here by 8:00 p.m. the day before. UPDATE: the weather looks significantly warmer for Saturday, so this event will proceed as scheduled.  Please note that there is a large event at the Carleton Recreation Center.  Parking may be difficult elsewhere but we will have all of the parking spots in front of the Arboretum Office reserved for you!  Feel free to move an orange cone.
