For this reading, Mr. Mohyuddin will read from his debut book of poetry, The Displaced Children of Displaced Children (Eyewear Publishing, 2018), dealing with the topics of displacement, migration, memory, longing, lost history, and a search for home and homeland. He'll share insights into how the book came to be the book it is, and into how his time at Carleton helped launch the book (namely how the oldest poem in the book was written in April 2000 in Greg's class during my senior year!).
