Friday, April 24th, 2020
10:50 – 11:50 am / Skinner Chapel

Shira Nayman is a storyteller.  Born in South Africa, she grew up in Australia, and has lived in Israel, Mexico, France, and Colombia, and now makes her home in New York.  Her career embodies one way in which one can live and work through storytelling.  She started out as a clinical psychologist, using storytelling in psychotherapy, and then became a strategic marketing consultant for iconic American brands and political candidates.  All the while, she was also publishing essays, short stories, and novels that illuminated the richness of human experience.  Nayman tells of the power of storytelling as it is woven through human experience and endeavor.
