Named for the 33rd President of the United States, the Truman Scholarship is the most prestigious public service scholarship awarded to undergraduates (US Citizens only). It includes $30,000 toward graduate study and connection to an impressive network of former scholars around the US and the globe. The Truman Scholarship criteria are academic excellence, demonstrated potential for leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to community and public service.
This is a highly competitive award, for which Carleton is able to nominate up to four students.
