Workshop for Comps Writers

Joli Jensen, author of Write No Matter What: Advice for Academics, will be on campus next Tuesday, 10/1, and she’s agreed to hold an informal workshop for seniors going into their comps. If this is you and you are daunted by the prospect of a long independent writing and research project, please attend!
Jensen’s specialty is helping writers adopt a “craftsman attitude” towards their writing that makes it easier to develop productive writing habits and to address the anxieties that lead to writer’s block. She’ll address some of these techniques in the workshop and leave time for students to raise specific questions and concerns of their own.
The workshop will be on Tuesday, Oct 1 from 4-5PM in Weitz 233. Seating is (somewhat) limited.
