Our Corporate Development team is a group comprised of ambitious, team‐oriented professionals that are dedicated to improving health care for UnitedHealth Group’s members through executing strategic acquisitions and initiatives. You can expect a dynamic work environment that provides significant responsibility, development opportunities, executive visibility and rapid upward mobility.
Our group is responsible for driving all merger and acquisition activity across UHG, which is a Fortune 6 healthcare company. We are essentially an internal investment bank for UHG and manages all of the acquisition activity, as well as engages with executives on highly strategic special projects.

Analyst Responsibilities:
- Informing and educating UnitedHealth Group Executives & Board Members on strategic activity, including M&A opportunities, industry assessments and growth initiatives.
- Building financial models, including core financial projections, valuation (DCF, comps, LBO) and EPS accretion / (dilution) analysis.
- Leading large internal diligence teams of operational and legal subject matter experts (tax, accounting, IT, legal, etc.).
- Working on special projects for executive leadership related to developing strategic initiatives and facilitating M&A growth objectives.
