Resilient Design Challenge II
This will be a repeat of the design challenge we ran in July. Please sign up if you would like to design a weekly structure for your fall course(s) that will foreground communication, build community, and stand up to disruption. Plan once for whatever fall may bring! The challenge will involve synchronous and asynchronous elements (all of the synchronous elements can be replaced with asynchronous ones that fit your schedule), small group work, and submission of a sample week and a final reflection. You will get a student’s eye view of an online course and a chance to build community with other faculty. We anticipate the challenge requiring the equivalent of 3 half days of work; it carries a stipend of $180 for those who complete the final assignments.
