Free & For Sale Frenzy

Sun, October 27, 2019 • 12:00pm - 5:00pm (5h) • Great Hall

Looking for a way to clean out your closet and freshen up your wardrobe for spring term? Tired of sifting through a bunch of Free and For Sale posts only to find the one shirt you wanted already has 5 people in line to try it on?

Come to the Free and For Sale Frenzy! On Sunday, October 27, the Sustainability Office is hosting a 'pop-up thrift shop' where Carleton students can bring clothes and accessories, name their price, and sell/buy other students’ clothes. This is a fun and simple way to facilitate reusing clothes and reducing waste!

Drop off your items (tops, dresses, pants, bottoms, outerwear) in the Great Hall from 12-2pm. You’ll fill out a tag for each item with your asking price and venmo information (this year we are doing Venmo ONLY). The sale will take place from 3-5pm in the Great Hall (ALL ARE WELCOME, regardless of whether you are selling anything)! Changing rooms/mirrors will be available. Any items not sold must be picked up from 5-5:30pm OR will be donated to the Carleton Clothing Connection or the GSC’s QT (Queer/Trans) Boutique
