Elite Scholars of China Logo

Founded almost ten years ago, Elite Scholars of China began when its co-founder, Stacy Palestrant, took 6 Chinese high schoolers on a college tour in the U.S. Today, Team ESC works with 150+ Chinese high school seniors and more than 300 students total each year, supporting them and their families as they navigate the U.S. college application process. Today, we work with students located throughout China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Despite its rapid growth, the company has maintained its sense of community, its focus on the student, and its entrepreneurial spirit.

Elite Scholars of China (ESC) is currently hiring for remote teachers and interns.

Remote Teaching Fellowship
Location: Remote
At ESC, we are constantly seeking to provide our students with opportunities tailored to their specific academic interests. Working with a unique population of Chinese high school students planning to study abroad, we act as a bridge between different education systems. Our holistic approach to education demands that we prepare our students not only for the college application process, but also for the rigorous academic and cultural transition they will experience in college.

We are seeking Teaching Fellows who are able to leverage their understanding of their field of study to create engaging, online, discussion-based seminars for our students. These classes are intended to supplement our students’ individual development and understanding of collegiate and professional expectations around a specific academic subject. Each seminar should foster hands-on and project-based learning and facilitate student-driven inquiry.

Internship (TBA)
Location: Remote or in Beijing
As an Intern at ESC, you will serve an important role in helping our organization continue to deliver exceptional service to top high school students who are navigating through the American college application process. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of fields that are critical to our company's continued growth. Past interns have worked on projects in curriculum development, data management, marketing, and many more!
