Poster for Jan. 2019 Super Moon Viewing event

Come join the Arboretum Student Naturalists in viewing the "Super Blood Wolf Moon," a rare convergence of a super moon and total lunar eclipse, on Sunday, January 20st. This moon will appear 13% larger and 30% brighter than it normally does, and will take on a reddish hue from the eclipse. We will leave from the Rec Center lobby at 9:45pm, take a short moonlit through the Arboretum, and come to the Hill of Three Oaks for a campfire before the peak of the eclipse at 10:45. Binoculars will be provided.
