Birding for Beginners Field Trip
Bird watching for beginners. Learn the basics of how to identify birds by call and appearance.
Love birds? Want to spend a beautiful sunny spring morning in the Carleton Arboretum learning more about them? Come learn the basics of birding from accomplished birders Gene Bauer and Owen McMurtrey on May 16th. This trip is designed to introduce people to the basics of bird watching, covering such topics as where to look and what to listen for, but all levels of birding experience are welcome. Bring your own binoculars if you have them; a few pairs will be available to borrow.
