The movie Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time, will be shown as a collaborative event between the Carleton College Arboretum and the Cannon River Watershed Partnership, a local group working to improve water quality of the Cannon River.

This is a documentary film about the legendary conservationist and pioneer in the development of wilderness ethic: Aldo Leopold. The film portrays how Leopold’s vision of a community that cares about both people and land – his call for land ethic – ties together a wide range of modern conservation concerns and offers inspiration and insight for the future
