Arboretum Volunteer Work Event

Join the Arboretum Crew to help restore the prairies and forests of the Arboretum.

Saturday, May 21st, 2011
9:00 am – 12:00 pm / Carleton Arboretum - Upper Arb

Join the Arboretum Crew to remove invasive honeysuckle and buckthorn in the Upper Arboretum. Native grass, wildflower and shrub seeds will be planted in the place of the removed invaders.

Meet on the paved trail at the bridge over Spring Creek, just down the trail from the intersection of Oak and Second Streets.  Bring drinking water and work gloves if you have them, dress for the weather!

Note: This event goes on rain or shine, but will be cancelled if the weather is hazardous (thunder/lightening or tornado warning).
