Carleton Winter Wardrobe

Overview

Winter Wardrobe

The Division of Student Life is excited to introduce the Carleton Winter Wardrobe. The Wardrobe provides Carleton students with gently used winter clothing and accessories free of charge. Minnesota winters can be extreme and we recognize that not all students are adequately prepared to be outside during the long winter months. The Wardrobe will focus on Carleton students with the greatest financial need, but is open to the entire student body.

The Wardrobe is open two weeks each year; one week in October 2019 and one week in January 2020 and will be located in the Sayles-Hill Campus Center (Great Space), just outside the main entrance to the Carleton Bookstore.

Donations & Wardrobe Drive

Donations of gently used items will be collected October 14-18, 2019 in the Sayles-Hill Campus Center (Great Space). There will be collection tables near the Bon Appetit cashier station. Carleton students are in need of the following:

  • Coats
  • Jackets
  • Scarves
  • Gloves/mittens
  • Winter boots
  • Hats
  • Hand warmers
  • Earmuffs

Hours of Operation

The Winter Wardrobe will take place for Carleton Students October 22- 25, 2019 and again at the beginning of January 2020 for students returning from OCS programs. The wardrobe will be located in Sayles Hill Campus Center (Great Space) near the Carleton Bookstore.
