  • Patricia Martin leaving Carleton

Patricia Martin has announced her resignation. After twenty years of valuable service to Carleton, Patricia has decided to pursue other interests. During her tenure she has held various positions: Director of the News Bureau, Director of College Relations, and most recently as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Patricia has been instrumental in expanding and enhancing Carleton’s presence in Asia and has secured numerous prestigious grants from national funders including Booth Ferris, Bush, Arthur Vining Davis, Hearst, Luce, Kresge, Mellon, Rockefeller Brothers, Howard Hughes, and Starr, among others. She has been a great partner in working with faculty on grant requests and advancing Carleton’s educational mission. Additionally, Patricia is a Carleton parent (Greg Martin '03) and we will value her continued and ongoing relationship with the College in that capacity.

Patricia’s last day will be January 2, 2004. Please join me in wishing her well.

  • St. Jude's holiday cards

In past holiday seasons, ACT has participated in collecting Holiday cards for the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. This program has been so successful that St. Jude’s currently has a two-year supply of donated holiday cards! Therefore, we will not be collecting cards this year. ACT appreciates your past donations, and we look forward to collecting cards again in the future.
