  • Carleton Moodle Day

    Academic Technologies (ITS) will be hosting the first Carleton Moodle Day in the CMC on Friday, December 7. We will begin the festivities with a digital poster session where Carleton faculty and staff will be showing off their successful Moodle sites for coursework and collaboration. The afternoon will continue with a light lunch, various how-to workshops, and friendly banter.   • Free Recycling of Home Computing Equipment for the Carleton, St. Olaf, and the Northfield Community

    Do you have a home computer that you've been wanting to get rid of but don't know how? Carleton is partnering with Material Processing Corporation (MPC), the College’s computing equipment recycler, to recycle personal/home computing equipment. MPC will have a large truck available to the Northfield community on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m to noon in Carleton's South Stadium parking lot off Highway 19. There will be no charge for disposal, including computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, and other basic computing equipment. This disposal is for personal/home equipment and is not available to businesses. To learn more about MPC and their collection, visit their Web site.

  • Carleton Annual Craft and Custodial Bake Sale

    Don't forget the annual Carleton craft and bake sale on Friday, November 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Carleton Custodians bring in the best of their baked goods and holiday candies, and all proceeds go to the Custodial Scholarship Fund, providing financial aid to deserving Carleton students. The custodians will also be collecting food items for the local Community Action Center Food Shelf. So come shop, partake of holiday goodies, and help out those less fortunate.   • Where in the World is Robbie Groth?

    Students, faculty, and staff who are looking for the smiling face of Robbie Groth will now find her at the Academic Support Center in Scoville Hall. Robbie assumed her new position as Program Assistant with the Academic Support Center, effective Monday, November 12. The Business Office is accepting applications for the position of Business Office Administrative Assistant and will continue to carry on her legacy of "outstanding service with a smile!" Please join us in congratulating Robbie on her new position and responsibilities.

  • Opportunity to Help Those Less Fortunate

    In partnership with Northfield’s Community Action Center, Staff at Carleton (SAC) will be collecting scarves, mittens, gloves, hats, books, and stocking stuffers for children in the Northfield Community this holiday season. Please drop off your new (not used) items at the SAC table at the Craft Fair on Friday, November 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thank you for helping to make this Christmas a special one for those less fortunate.
