To see a complete schedule, list of attendees, and other information about reunion, visit the reunion Web site: http://apps.carleton.edu/alumni/reunion/. Everyone will also receive a final schedule booklet in campus mail. If you are interested in attending reunion meals, tickets are available for purchase at the Sayles-Hill registration desk from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Important parking information: The Johnson House parking lot and part of the Nourse parking lot will be barricaded on Monday night for tent setup on Tuesday. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping these parking areas open so that the tents can be set up on schedule. We will work with the rental company to have these tents removed as soon as possible after reunion weekend.

Please contact Alumni Affairs at x4205 if you have any questions about reunion weekend.

  • Housing for Students Required to Return Prior to Fall Term Opening

Each year, some departments require students to return to campus prior to opening (this year September 10 for upper class students). Although housing is available, we ask that departments limit the number of students invited to return early to those who are essential to the opening of the College. Large numbers of students on campus prior to our scheduled opening date can make final residence hall preparation, security, and New Student Week preparation and activities difficult. See complete article for further details.

General information about Early Return Housing:

    • Early Return Housing will be available beginning on Monday, August 30.
    • The charge for early returnees is $25 per day. This includes room and full board (no partial board plans are available to students living anywhere on campus). The department authorizing the student to return is responsible for this charge.
    • Students authorized to return early will be moving directly to their permanent housing assignment.
    • We are unable to provide housing for students who will be living in Northfield next year.
    • Reservations for early housing are due no later than Friday, July 9. No reservations can be accepted after that date.

Please check with students you are employing this summer to determine what their housing arrangements are for late summer. Students housed in Carleton-owned houses will only be housed through August 27. They must have a reservation in early arrival housing to continue living on campus after that date.

If you have questions about housing, or if your department will require housing for any students prior to opening, please contact the Office of Residential Life, x4072, or e-mail ResLife@acs.carleton.edu to request a reservation form.

    COLLEGE-OWNED SUMMER HOUSING
This summer we will be housing close to 60 students in College-owned housing. The students will be living in Allen, Benton, Berg, Chaney, Farm, Hall, Hunt Cottage, Prentice, Seccombe, and Wilson. Students housed in college-owned housing are working with departments on campus or participating in UNCO or Prairie and Wood.
